Section 1.  Qualification for Application

Any able-bodied person based/residing in the Philippines who is interested to pursue the sport of skyrunning is eligible to apply for membership. There are two types of members -- the PSA-Registered Athletes and the Skyrunners.

Section 2.  Application Process

1. PhilSky-Registered Athlete

To be considered a PSA Registered Athlete, one must express interest through:

• Subscription to the PhilSky yahoogroup.

• Submission of Registration Form to the Membership Committee.
• Mia Constantino is the head of the Membership Committee

• Registration Forms may be submitted personally to Mia or emailed to mia_constantino@yahoo.com or mia@philskyrunning.com.

• Payment of Registration Fee to the Finance Committee. This also serves as the annual fee for the Calendar Year.

• Registration Fee: P500

• Glenn Mundo is the head of the Finance Committee.

• Registration Fee may be paid personally to Glenn or deposited into the PSA Checking Account.

• Bank: BPI

  Account #: 3191-0473-02

• Applicants who choose to deposit their registration fee must submit a copy of their deposit slip to Mia either personally or via email to mia_constantino@yahoo.com.

2. Skyrunners

To become an inducted skyrunner, a PhilSky-Registered Athlete must meet the following requirements during the application period.

• Attendance in 2 PhilSky lectures OR 2 volunteer work in a Philippine Skyrunning Association event. The Membership Committee will release the initial schedule of the PhilSky Lectures and events at the start of the application process.

• Participation in a minimum of 1 Training Trail run during the application period. The Membership Committee will release the initial schedule of the training runs at the start of the application process.

• Completion of at least 1 trail running race during the application period. The Membership Committee will endorse the list of trail running races at the start of the application period. The Membership Committee reserves the right to amend the list of trail running races as the application period progresses.

• Participation in at least one of the following:

• PhilSky Induction Skyrun. The Membership Committee will release the schedule of the induction at the start of the application period.

• ISF-accredited Skyrace.

Section 3.  Qualification for Membership

Membership with the Philippine Skyrunning Association is subject to the assessment of the PSA Core Team. The Membership Committee reserves the right to refuse or terminate an individual's membership with PSA.

Training Trail Runs

• The Philippine Skyrunning Association conducts training trail runs all through out the year. All training trail/skyrun announcements will be made via the PhilSky yahoogroup (pinoy_skyrunners)
